Job summary

D2 Technical Services is seeking a skilled Hybrid Cloud Platform Engineer to join a collaborative Agile team building a large-scale Platform as a Service for an Intelligence Community customer.

In this role you will operate OpenShift in cloud and on‑prem environments, deploy to new sites, manage data services, and work with security teams to ensure secure designs while producing clear documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field
• 5–8 years of developer or platform engineering experience
• Active TS/SCI clearance
• DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification (Security+ CE, CND, SSCP, GSEC, GICSP, CySA+, or CCNA)

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain Red Hat OpenShift environments across multiple security domains
• Support OpenShift frameworks including Crossplane, Kyverno, and Red Hat GitOps
• Deploy OpenShift to new sites as the platform expands
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to scale the platform
• Partner with Security teams to ensure secure‑by‑design solutions
• Manage data services such as RabbitMQ, Redis, PostgreSQL, and Elastic Stack
• Write clear, thorough documentation for teammates and maintainers
