Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies seeks an experienced Container Platform Engineer to design, deploy, and operate enterprise OpenShift platforms across on-premises and cloud environments. You will own the end-to-end platform lifecycle, including provisioning, hardening, workload onboarding, and continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate has deep OpenShift/Kubernetes knowledge, strong Linux fundamentals, and a security-first mindset.

Qualifications

Five or more years operating container platforms in production.
At least three years on Red Hat OpenShift.
Strong knowledge of Kubernetes and OpenShift internals.
Experience with CI/CD on OpenShift or Kubernetes.
Proficient scripting: Bash, Python, or Go.
Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (Ansible, Terraform, Helm).
Excellent troubleshooting and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

Architect, provision, and operate Red Hat OpenShift clusters across on-premises and cloud environments.
Design multi-tenant OpenShift platforms with project isolation and RBAC.
Automate cluster lifecycle operations (install, upgrades, scaling, decommissioning).
Onboard development teams with self-service patterns and templates.
Operate OpenShift networking, including SDN and ingress controllers.
Manage OpenShift storage strategies and integration with external storage.
Implement monitoring and logging using Prometheus, Grafana, and EFK stack.
Harden the platform with image scanning and runtime protection.
Design robust CI/CD pipelines on OpenShift using Tekton, Jenkins, or Argo CD.
Develop disaster-recovery and backup strategies for clusters and workloads.
Plan and execute cluster upgrades with rollback strategies.
Right-size workloads and tune autoscaling for performance and cost.
Evolve tooling and developer experience; mentor junior engineers.
