Job summary

Jimmy John's in New Whiteland, IN is seeking a motivated Opening Prep team member to help get the store ready for opening each day. You will learn efficient prep techniques to cut, slice, and portion products for daily use.

Key duties include Veggie prep by 8:30am, bread baking, and ensuring opening procedures are completed by 10:30am, followed by regular in-store tasks during lunch. This is an essential morning role supporting smooth opening and daily operations.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Will follow Jimmy John's opening prep standards.
• Able to prepare vegetables, bread, and other ingredients as directed.
• Capable of supporting opening and lunch-time operations.

Responsibilities

• Prepping all veggies per Jimmy Johns Standard by 8:30am.
• Baking Wheat Bread and French Bread.
• Ensuring opening procedures are completed by 10:30am daily.
• After opening, perform normal in-store responsibilities during lunch.

Jimmy John's Opening Prep Position's goal is to get the store prepped and ready to open as quickly and efficiently as possible. We do this by learning the most efficient ways to get product prepared, sliced, chopped, and portioned to be used throughout the day.

This Position will be responsible for the following:

• 1. Prepping all veggies per Jimmy Johns Standard by 8:30am
• 2. Baking Wheat Bread and French Bread
• 3. Ensuring the execution of all store opening procedures are completed by 10:30am daily
• 4. Once opening procedures are completed execute normal in store responsibilities throughout lunch.
