Base pay range

The Downtown Family YMCA is seeking a part time enthusiastic community member to help ensure the safety of patrons at our pool! Looking for certified lifeguards or swimmers who are interested in becoming lifeguards (we will certify you if you qualify)! This is a part time position starts at $14.00 per hour.

DUTIES of a Lifeguard

The qualified candidate will be responsible for the safety of the members and program participants. Must be available to work evening and weekend shifts.

QUALIFICATIONS Of a Lifeguard

Candidates must be at least 15 years old and have current CPR, AED, First Aid and either American Red Cross or Ellis Lifeguard certification. Oxygen Administration (O2) is preferred but not required.
