Job summary

Aptuity Solutions Inc. is seeking an Enterprise Network Engineer for Fort Lauderdale, FL. The role requires extensive hands-on experience with Cisco routing, switching, IOS-XE, and SD-WAN/Viptela.

You will work within a formal change-management environment to design, implement, and support complex enterprise networks. The position emphasizes cross-functional collaboration, strong documentation, and the ability to troubleshoot independently across WAN/LAN, security, and data-center networking

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on enterprise network engineering experience preferred.
• Associate s or higher college degree.
• Strong hands-on experience with Cisco enterprise routing and switching.
• Advanced knowledge of Cisco IOS-XE and Catalyst switching platforms.
• Strong knowledge of BGP, OSPF, VLANs, VRFs, STP, EtherChannel, HSRP/VRRP, QoS, and Layer 2/Layer 3 troubleshooting.
• Demonstrated hands-on experience administering Cisco Catalyst Center (DNAC).
• Demonstrated hands-on experience administering Cisco ISE, including RADIUS, 802.1X, MAB, EAP-TLS, authentication, authorization, and Active Directory integration.
• Hands-on experience designing and supporting Cisco SD-WAN/Viptela, including vManage and centralized/localized policies.
• Strong enterprise wireless experience, preferably with Cisco Catalyst wireless controllers and access points.
• Hands-on experience administering Palo Alto Networks firewalls and Panorama.
• Experience with firewall security policies, NAT, application identification, threat prevention, network segmentation, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with Cisco SDA/Software-Defined Access.
• Experience with Cisco TrustSec/SGT.
• Strong understanding of enterprise network security principles.
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex network issues independently.
• Experience working within formal change-management and production-support processes.
• Strong technical documentation and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and effectively with cross-functional technical teams.

Required Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications

• CCNP Enterprise or higher.
• Palo Alto Networks PCNSE or equivalent hands-on Palo Alto experience.
• Cisco certifications related to ISE, wireless, Catalyst Center, or SD-WAN.
• Experience with Cisco SDA/Software-Defined Access.
• Experience with Cisco TrustSec/SGT.
• Strong hands-on experience with Cisco Catalyst and Nexus switching platforms.
• Advanced knowledge of Cisco IOS-XE and NX-OS operating systems.
• Demonstrated experience configuring and troubleshooting Cisco Nexus data center switching, including vPC, VRFs, VLANs, port-channels, Layer 2/Layer 3 forwarding, and routing.
• Strong knowledge of BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, VLANs, VRFs, STP, EtherChannel/port-channels, HSRP/VRRP, QoS, and Layer 2/Layer 3 troubleshooting.
• Experience with network automation using Python, REST APIs, Ansible, or similar technologies.
• Experience with packet analysis tools such as Wireshark.
• Experience with enterprise network monitoring and management platforms.
• Experience in large, distributed, highly available enterprise environments.
