Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; training in forestry, turf and grounds maintenance, chemical application and equipment operation.
• Experience in landscape maintenance, urban forest management and/or herbicide application is required.
• Knowledge of pesticide regulations, record keeping and reporting is essential.

Responsibilities

• Identify weed-infested areas and map infestations; develop long-term eradication strategy.
• Monitor weed populations and recommend management methods.
• Operate vehicles and calibration of herbicide application equipment; perform maintenance.
