The University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus is seeking an Open Rank Research Services Laboratory Sciences Professional to join labs focusing on neurons and circuits in the retina and early visual system.

The role involves ex-vivo and in-vivo electrophysiology, two-photon imaging, cellular and circuit modeling, and rodent visual behaviors, with collaboration across multiple labs in a highly collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent substituted by education/experience.
• 1 year professional level research experience for intermediate.
• 2 years professional level research experience for senior.

Responsibilities

• Whole-cell patch-clamp electrophysiology.
• Two-photon calcium imaging of cellular populations and synaptic inputs.
• Electroretinogram measurements.
• Equipment maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting.
• Software development to support experiments.
• Biophysical modeling and construction of machine learning-based models.
• Statistical analysis of single-cell and population-level recordings.
• Collaborate with PI and stakeholders on lab and research functions.
