The University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora, CO invites applications for an open-rank, tenure-eligible vision science faculty position within the Departments of Physiology and Biophysics and Ophthalmology. The successful candidate will develop a mechanistic research program focused on artificial vision through neuromodulation, retinal or brain prostheses, or brain–computer interfaces.

Qualificações

• Ph.D. and/or M.D. degree in Neuroscience, Vision Science, Physiology/Biophysics, or a closely related field.
• Three years of post-doctoral research experience.
• A strong record of peer-reviewed academic publications.
• A well-developed plan for independent research and funding.

Responsabilidades

• Lead a productive research group, secure external funding, and publish their work.
• Teach courses in the graduate and/or medical schools.
• Participate in service to the department and University.
