Job summary

Rowan University’s Shreiber School of Veterinary Medicine invites applications for a faculty position in Anesthesiology. This open-rank appointment can be Clinical, Educational, or Tenure Track and offers full- or part-time options in a growing academic hospital.

The successful candidate will provide comprehensive anesthesia and perioperative care, contribute to clinical teaching and student mentorship, and help develop anesthesia protocols within a modern teaching hospital.

Qualifications

• DVM or equivalent degree.
• Board certification in ACVAA or eligibility.
• Eligibility for New Jersey veterinary licensure.
• Strong clinical anesthesia expertise and teaching interest.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive anesthesia, analgesia, and perioperative care for hospital patients.
• Develop, implement, and evaluate anesthesia protocols and safety measures.
• Participate in clinical teaching and mentorship of students, interns, and residents.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care and education.
• Contribute to scholarly activity or clinical research in anesthesia.
