Open Rank Vascular Surgeon - 2 (Finance)

Position Summary:

The Department of Surgery at the University of South Florida, Morsani College of Medicine, is seeking an Open Rank Vascular Surgeon to perform all aspects of vascular surgery. Applicants should have completed a vascular surgery residency and demonstrated experience in surgical education, research, and patient care.

Position Qualifications:

  1. Doctoral/Medical degree from an accredited institution or the highest degree appropriate in the field of specialization, with a demonstrated record of achievement in teaching, research, and service.
  2. Must meet university criteria for appointment at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor.
  3. For Associate or Full Professor, candidates should have produced creative work, professional writing, or research in refereed and other professional journals, and be recognized as an authority in the field.
  4. Must hold or be eligible for a full, unrestricted Florida Medical License or foreign equivalent.
  5. To perform this position, the candidate must obtain and maintain a full unrestricted Florida Medical License, credentials in the USF Health faculty practice plan, and be a medical staff member in good standing at the assigned hospitals.
  6. Candidates must be Board certified or Board Eligible in Vascular Surgery.

  • Promote a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
  • Ensure timely completion of all required training and patient documentation in inpatient and outpatient settings.
