Job description

Position: Urology Residency Trained Provider

The USF Department of Urology is seeking a Residency Trained Provider with a clinical interest in Stone Disease and General Urology to join as a core faculty member. The candidate will join a growing department with its flagship clinical site at Tampa General Hospital. Responsibilities include providing comprehensive management of patients with nephrolithiasis and general urology pathology. The provider will collaborate closely with current subspecialists and the local outreach community.

This is a full-time, 12-month salaried faculty position, open rank, with attending staff privileges at Tampa General Hospital (TGH) and affiliated hospitals. TGH is a level 1 trauma center serving as a tertiary care facility for south central and west Florida.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Medical degree from an accredited institution or the highest relevant degree in the field, with demonstrated achievement in teaching, research, and service.
  • Full, unrestricted Florida medical license or eligibility.
  • Meet university criteria for appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Full Professor.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Completion of Urology residency, with a focus on urological surgical procedures related to nephrolithiasis.
  • American Board of Urology certification or eligibility for certification.
