Job description

Open Rank - Urologic Surgeon, Stone Specialty (Finance)

The USF Department of Urology is seeking a Residency Trained Provider with a clinical interest in Stone Disease and General Urology to join as core faculty. The candidate will join a growing department with its flagship clinical site at Tampa General Hospital. Responsibilities include providing comprehensive care for patients with nephrolithiasis and general urology pathology, working closely with subspecialists and the local outreach community.

This is a full-time, 12-month salaried faculty position with open rank, offering attending staff privileges at Tampa General Hospital (TGH) and affiliated hospitals. TGH is a level 1 trauma center serving south central and west Florida.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Medical degree from an accredited institution or the highest relevant degree in the field, with a demonstrated record in teaching, research, and service.
  • Must hold or be eligible for a full, unrestricted Florida medical license.
  • Meet university criteria for appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Full Professor.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Completed residency in Urology with a focus on urological surgical procedures related to nephrolithiasis.
  • American Board of Urology certification or eligibility for certification.
