The Department of Surgery at the University of South Florida, Morsani College of Medicine, seeks an Open Rank Surgical Oncology/HPB Faculty to join the Division of Oncology Surgery in Tampa.

Candidates should be Board Certified in General Surgery with fellowship training in Complex Surgical Oncology or HBP Surgery, with a strong interest in robotic surgery and academic scholarship. Associate/Professor level candidates are welcome, with a competitive faculty appointment at USF.

Qualifications

• Board-certified in General Surgery with fellowship in Complex Surgical Oncology or HBP Surgery.
• Demonstrated expertise in HBP surgery and interest in robotic surgery.
• Record of academic scholarship and teaching.
• Applicants at Associate/Professor level welcomed; exceptional Assistant Professor considered.

Responsibilities

• Teach and supervise medical students and surgical residents.
• Lead or participate in clinical trials related to HPB and oncologic surgery.
• Contribute to academic research and publication.
• Participate in weekly M&M and fellow/resident education.
