Open Rank - Pulmonary Critical Care Intensivist (Finance)

The Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine and the Department of Internal Medicine at the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine are seeking a Pulmonary/Critical Care physician for a full-time faculty position at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor rank. This position offers a 12-month salaried appointment with attending staff privileges at Tampa General Hospital (TGH) and affiliated hospitals.

Position Qualifications:

Minimum:

• Medical degree from an accredited institution or equivalent, with a record of achievement in teaching, research, and service.
• Must meet university criteria for appointment at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level.
• For Associate or Full Professor, a minimum of five years of productive service at the previous rank, with recognized contributions in research and professional work.
• Current, unrestricted medical licensure in Florida or eligibility for it.
• Board certification in Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care.

• Report to a Chair or appropriate administrator.
• Engage in teaching, research, service, and administrative activities.
• Provide academic advising.
• Represent the university or department as needed.
