Job summary

Indiana University Bloomington invites applications for multiple tenured or tenure-track faculty positions in the Luddy School of Informatics, Computing, and Engineering, Department of Intelligent Systems Design, focusing on microelectronics, circuits, and system design. The appointees will contribute to teaching and research across analog/mixed-signal ICs, digital AI hardware, advanced packaging, and power electronics.

These 10-month appointments start August 1, 2027 (negotiable).

Qualifications

• PhD in engineering or related field required.
• Proven record of scholarship and teaching at undergraduate/graduate levels.
• Extramural research funding and leadership experience encouraged.
• Strong commitment to student mentorship and service.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a robust research portfolio with external funding.
• Teach and advise undergraduate and graduate students.
• Contribute to departmental and university service activities.
• Collaborate across computing, AI, sensing, security, and healthcare domains.
