Job summary

Indiana University Bloomington invites applications for multiple tenured faculty positions at the associate or full professor rank in the Luddy School of Informatics, Computing, and Engineering, Department of Intelligent Systems Design, in microelectronics, circuits, and system design. Candidates should lead research in analog/mixed-signal ICs, digital VLSI/AI hardware, packaging, and power electronics.

Appointments begin August 1, 2027, with full consideration for early or late starts;

Qualifications

• PhD in engineering or a related field; commitment to excellence in scholarship and teaching at undergraduate and graduate levels.
• Record of scholarly achievement appropriate for tenure: extramural funding, publications, and leadership of sizeable research initiatives.
• Strong teaching and service record expected with a track record of facilitating student mentorship.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a robust research portfolio with extramural funding; serve as corresponding PI and collaborator.
• Teach and mentor a diverse undergraduate and graduate student population.
• Engage in departmental, school, and university service and professional/community engagement.
