Job summary

The Dental College of Georgia at Augusta University seeks a faculty member at the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Professor in General Dentistry to provide general patient care at an off-site clinical facility hosted by the Mercer University School of Medicine that treats adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Must be eligible for GA State dental or faculty license; facility located in Macon, GA.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ADA-accredited dental school or 5 years of clinical experience.
• Licensed in or eligible for Georgia Board of Dentistry.
• Experience treating special needs patients (IDD) and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive general dental treatment in outpatient and hospital settings.
• Collaborate with Mercer University School of Medicine in the Center for Adults with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities.
• Participate in relevant Augusta University Dental College of Georgia and Mercer committees and maintain patient records compliance.
• Oversee administrative duties for patient records and complete required annual compliance training.
