Job summary

The Dental College of Georgia at Augusta University is seeking a full-time faculty member at the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor to lead predoctoral didactic, preclinical, and clinical learning in restorative dentistry and prosthodontics. Opportunities for scholarship, service, and faculty practice are available.

Clinical teaching and patient care will be key components of the role.

Qualifications

• DDS/DMD or foreign equivalent required for faculty appointment.
• Must be eligible for Georgia Dental License or Georgia Dental Faculty License.
• Experience in teaching and scholarly activity preferred.
• Five years at rank for Associate/Professor level considerations.

Responsibilities

• Teach predidactic, preclinical, and clinical learning in restorative dentistry and prosthodontics.
• Supervise and mentor students and residents in DMD and advanced programs.
• Develop and administer student performance assessments and didactics.
• Provide patient care in faculty practice and maintain quality standards.
