Job summary
Rutgers University in Piscataway, NJ, invites applications for an open-rank, 12-month faculty position in Psychiatric Rehabilitation and Counseling Professions. Qualifications
- Master’s degree in education or a mental health discipline.
- Experience working directly with individuals diagnosed with serious mental health conditions.
- Demonstrated knowledge of mental health systems and psychiatric rehabilitation methods.
- Preference for Certified Peer Specialist or CPRP credentials; instructional design experience; scholarly productivity.
Responsibilities
- Teach undergraduate and graduate psychiatric rehabilitation and rehabilitation counseling students.
- Develop curricula materials for on‑campus and web‑based courses.
- Develop, deliver, and evaluate educational training programs for mental health practitioners including peer specialists.
- Collaborate with instructional designers to develop asynchronous web‑based modules.
- Pursue a scholarly agenda with presentations and publications.
