Emory University in Atlanta, GA invites applications for a Faculty position in the Virginia Institute for Psychiatric and Behavioral Genetics (VIPBG). Open-ranked, full-time, tenure-track or tenured.

Candidates will conduct and grow research in statistical genetics/genomics, behavioral genetics, computational genetics, and/or neuroimaging; mentor graduate students and postdocs while pursuing external funding. Teaching contributions are encouraged, with a collaborative campus environment.

Qualifications

• MD, PhD, or equivalent with training in statistical genetics/genomics, behavioral genetics/genomics, computational genetics/genomics, or neuroimaging
• Strong research agenda with potential for external funding
• Commitment to fostering a professional and inclusive environment

Responsibilities

• Research: Conduct and expand research in statistical genetics/genomics, behavioral genetics, computational genetics, or neuroimaging.
• Teaching / Mentorship: Contribute to relevant courses and mentor trainees in research programs.
• Service: Participate in departmental, college, and university committees, as well as professional service such as peer review.
