Job summary

The McIntire School of Commerce at the University of Virginia invites applications for a full-time, open-rank academic general faculty member (teaching track or practice track, non-tenure eligible) to teach introductory and other general management courses beginning August 2027. The position will entail teaching 18 credit hours (or the equivalent of six 3-credit courses) per academic year.

Teaching assignments will include Foundations of Commerce, Organizational Behavior, and other management

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a suitable field or commensurate professional experience.
• Ph.D. in a suitable field or commensurate experience for higher ranks.
• Open-rank appointment based on experience and qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Teach introductory and general management courses beginning August 2027.
• Teach 18 credit hours per academic year (six 3-credit courses).
• Contribute to curriculum development and student mentoring.
