Qualifications

• Must be able to perform invasive procedures as dictated by the physician's subspecialty.
• Develop and maintain a clinical practice for patients referred to UT MD Anderson.
• Visually review for proper ICD-9 and CPT coding and approve all charge documents within five working days.
• Complete patient documentation for medical records within time frames provided by institutional policy.
• Correspond as appropriate in writing or in telephone conversations with physicians regarding patient care and treatment.
• Keep abreast of current approaches in patient management through attendance at conferences and continuing education.
• Share clinical responsibilities with other faculty including inpatient service, outpatient clinic and procedures.
