The successful candidate will teach across didactic, laboratory, simulation, and clinical settings while maintaining clinical expertise and engaging in scholarship and service.

The role supports launching a new School of Nursing, with opportunities to shape curriculum, develop partnerships, and advance educational innovation.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) or PhD in Nursing or related discipline required.
• Current, unrestricted licensure as a registered nurse in the State of Georgia.
• Certification in specialty area required or expected within the first year of appointment.
• Demonstrated productivity and evidence of an emerging or established independent program of scholarship, may be education or practice or leadership focused.
• Demonstrated record of teaching effectiveness appropriate to rank.

Responsibilities

• Teach across didactic, laboratory, simulation, and clinical settings; maintaining clinical expertise.
• Engage in educational and/or clinical scholarship and service within the School, University, profession, and community.
• Contribute to curriculum development, teaching innovations, and strong clinical partnerships.
• Support the mission to prepare future nurses through excellence in teaching, evidence-based practice, and community engagement.
