Qualifications

• DNP or PhD in nursing or related terminal degree required for all ranked clinical track appointments.
• Current, unrestricted license as a registered nurse in Georgia.
• Certification in specialty area required or expected within the first year of appointment.
• Demonstrated teaching effectiveness and scholarly productivity appropriate to rank.

Responsibilities

• Teach across didactic, laboratory, simulation, and clinical settings while maintaining clinical expertise.
• Engage in educational and/or clinical scholarship and contribute to service within the School and University.
• Help shape curriculum, establish innovative teaching practices, and build partnerships for a new nursing school.
• Collaborate with clinical partners and communities to enhance student learning and program development.
