We are recruiting new faculty who have achievedexcellence in education, teaching, and research and are prepared tocontribute to our bold vision.
This is an open-rank, clinical, non-tenure track faculty position.Salary and rank commensurate with experience.
New faculty are expected to contribute to the educational, clinicaland research missions of the department and college ofmedicine.
Applicants must have a PhD and/or MD/DO from an accreditedinstitution. Official transcripts are required for facultyappointment and will be requested upon selection of the finalcandidate(s). Physician applicants must possess an unrestrictedTexas Medical License and board certification in their specialty.While exceptions may be considered, approval must be obtained fromthe Vice Dean of Education and/or the Dean of the College ofMedicine and the Office of the Provost. All positions within theUniversity of Houston System are security sensitive and will require a criminal history check. Physician applicants are requiredto provide documentation of current licensure and boardcertification as part of their application materials.
