Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent preferred.
• Manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to read and speak English is preferred.
• Mathematical skills equivalent to high school level including decimals, fractions and averages.
• Effective written and verbal communication; regular attendance and punctuality.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of machines ranging from a six-ton overhead crane to a tube-forming mill.
• Load/unload materials onto/off of machines and process tubing through equipment.
• Ensure tubes produced and shipped meet quality standards.
• Confirm equipment is in safe operating condition.
• Review the computerized work list, locate materials, and prioritize orders.
• Communicate with other operators to determine run orders.
• Load/unload machines including conveyors and perform setup during shift.
• Complete daily Operational and Safety Checklists.
