Job summary

Spring Valley Hospital in Las Vegas is seeking a surgical technologist to assist cardiothoracic surgeons with Open Heart instrumentation and to support preparation of heart-lung machine tubing.

Located in southwest Las Vegas, this 364-bed facility offers advanced cardiovascular and neurological surgeries, a level III NICU, and a strong commitment to patient care. Candidates should have CST certification, BLS, and 2+ years OR scrub experience.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited surgical technologist program.
• Experience: Minimum two years scrubbing in a major operating room; at least one year in Open Heart scrub.
• License/Certification: CST certification and current BLS certification.

Responsibilities

• Assist cardiothoracic surgeons with Open Heart instrumentation and related procedures.
• Prepare and manage tubings used by the heart-lung machine and related equipment.
