Qualifications

• Current RN licensure and strong critical care/cardiac recovery competency.
• Proficiency with continuous monitoring, ventilator care, and vasoactive infusions.
• Excellent clinical judgment, rapid assessment, and escalation skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork in high-acuity environments.
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach for complex recoveries.

Responsibilities

• Administer and monitor post-operative therapies with focus on hemodynamic stability.
• Manage ventilator support and vasoactive medications per standards.
• Coordinate with interdisciplinary team to support complex recovery plans.
• Provide patient and family education and emotional support during recovery.
• Participate in quality improvement and safety initiatives to enhance outcomes.
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold evidence-based practice.
