American Traveler in Florida is hiring a CVICU RN with recent open heart/cardiac critical care experience for a night shift assignment. Requires FL or compact license.

Responsibilities include caring for CVICU patients at a 2:1 ratio, night shifts 19:00-07:30, with occasional weekend or floating coverage. Epic EMR experience is required; background checks and vaccination proof apply.

Qualifications

• Active FL or compact RN license required in hand at time of consideration.
• BLS and ACLS certification via AHA.
• NIH Stroke Scale certification required in hand at time of consideration.
• Minimum 3 years recent critical care experience with acute/chronically ill patients.
• Minimum 2 years recent consecutive acute care experience within past 24 months for FBON-approved degrees.
• Epic EMR experience required.
• Must pass a Basic Arrhythmia/EKG assessment.
• Florida AHCA Level 2 background screening including fingerprint checks and abuse registry review.
• Proof of vaccination status required with no declinations.

Responsibilities

• Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) unit open heart/cardiac care.
• 2:1 patient ratio.
• Night shift, 3x12 hours (19:00-07:30).
• Every other weekend required.
• Floating as needed; holiday coverage as needed.
• Uses Epic EMR; provide critical care nursing to CVICU patients.
• Smoke-free facility; locals within 60-mile radius receive reduced local rate.
• Retake pass dysrhythmia exam within 24 hours if initial score doesn’t meet requirements.
