Job summary

Synechron is seeking an experienced Product Owner to lead Open Banking and Payments initiatives in Alpharetta, GA. You will own product backlog management and delivery, working closely with Product Managers, architecture, and engineering teams to ensure scalable, compliant payment solutions.

You will drive agile ceremonies, write clear user stories with acceptance criteria, and coordinate across business, operations, compliance, risk, and technology to enable successful releases.

Qualifications

• Must have strong debit/payments domain expertise.
• Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders across business, architecture and engineering.
• Solid experience delivering Agile-based product initiatives in a payments/Open Banking context.

Responsibilities

• Act as Product Owner for Open Banking and Payments initiatives, owning backlog management and delivery execution.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and stakeholders to translate strategy into user stories and requirements.
• Define and prioritize the product backlog, aligning with business priorities and program timelines.
• Work with Architecture and Engineering to deliver scalable, compliant payment solutions.
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies: sprint planning, backlog grooming, reviews, retrospectives.
• Gather business requirements and write detailed acceptance criteria in user stories.
• Coordinate across business, operations, compliance, risk, and tech to drive releases.
• Support Open Banking capabilities, Payment Hub initiatives, and money movement solutions.
