Job summary

Dover Corporation seeks an OPCO Automation Manager to accelerate enterprise-wide automation across sites in the Dowers portfolio. You will develop and drive the automation roadmap, champion high-value investments, and partner with leadership to improve safety, quality, productivity and customer responsiveness.

You will mentor automation engineers, oversee machine and tooling upgrades, and ensure alignment with corporate standards while delivering measurable improvements in OEE, labor efficiency,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, manufacturing, industrial technology, or equivalent mix of education and experience.
• 5+ years’ experience in automated machine design or assembly.
• Experience with SolidWorks or other CAD system.
• Direct experience designing, deploying, and supporting automation systems (DeltaV/SCADA, PAT, MES).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a multi-year automation strategy aligned with growth.
• Identify and champion automation investments with clear ROI.
• Mentor automation engineers and plant personnel.
• Lead capital projects from scoping to start-up, with safety and quality at the fore.
• Collaborate with site leadership to improve productivity and cost structure.
• Attend industry events to grow automation knowledge and network.
