Job summary

Sarasota Memorial Health Care System is seeking a Radiologic Technologist in the Operating Room to perform radiographic procedures under the direction of a pain medicine physician. The role requires independent judgment and the ability to apply prescribed radiation for diagnostic and interventional purposes, with on-call duties and two daily shift blocks.

Two posted schedules indicate 14:00–22:30 and 11:00–19:30 shifts, with holidays on-call.

Qualifications

• Requires Florida State Radiographers License issued by the Department of Radiation Control.
• Requires ARRT certification and current registration.

Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic procedures and related tasks under physician direction.
• Apply prescribed ionizing radiation or radiofrequency beams for radiologic diagnosis and/or intervention with independent judgment.
• Assumes responsibility for designated areas or procedures as required.

Job Summary

Under the direction of the pain medicine physician, performs radiographic procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. Performs a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment, with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation or prescribed radiofrequency beams for radiologic diagnosis and/or intervention. Assumes responsibility for designated areas or procedures as required.

Monday - Friday / 14:00 - 22:30 / On Call required / Holidays

Salary Details

Hourly rate is determined by years of worked experience as a Radiologic Technologist, education level, and internal equity within organization. Minimum rate starting at $34.30, max of salary range is $51.40.

Required Qualifications

• Require current Florida State Radiographers License issued by the department of Radiation Control.
• Require American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification and current registration.

• BLS: Basic Life Support/CPR
