Sarasota Memorial Health Care System is seeking a Radiologic Technologist for the Operating Room to perform radiographic procedures under a pain medicine physician, with independent judgment and initiative. Willingness to work in a dynamic OR setting and on-call as required.
Shifts include 14:00-22:30 (Mon-Fri) and 11:00-19:30, with on-call responsibilities and holiday coverage. The role advances radiologic diagnosis and intervention with safety and precision in a leading regional hospital.
Operating Room
Under the direction of the pain medicine physician, performs radiographic procedures at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail. Performs a variety of technical procedures that require independent judgment, with ingenuity and initiative to apply prescribed ionizing radiation or prescribed radiofrequency beams for radiologic diagnosis and/or intervention. Assumes responsibility for designated areas or procedures as required.
Monday - Friday / 14:00 - 22:30 / On Call required / Holidays
Hourly rate is determined by years of worked experience as a Radiologic Technologist, education level, and internal equity within organization. Minimum rate starting at $34.30, max of salary range is $51.40.
- Require current Florida State Radiographers License issued by the department of Radiation Control.
- Require American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification and current registration.
