Job summary

Pero Family Farms in Hanover, PA is seeking a PM Yard Jockey/Shipping and Receiving Supervisor to oversee inbound/outbound operations, forklift drivers, safety, and dock coordination.

You will supervise yard activity, assign tickets, manage dock doors, and serve as liaison between dock and office, ensuring GMP and USDA compliance. 1–2 years of experience and a High School diploma required; onsite, full-time, non-exempt.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of related experience or equivalent education, training providing required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
• High School Education/G.E.D. or equivalent certification preferred.
• Experience with produce distribution software systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee inbound receiving and outbound shipping operations on the floor.
• Supervise forklift drivers and/or stackers for safety and accountability.
• Assign and distribute forklift keys; coordinate dock door availability.
• Maintain and track dock door status and staging; monitor inbound to be unloaded.
• Direct communication with Dock/QC and office personnel on standards and procedures.
• Audit inbound and outbound shipments for accuracy and compliance.
