Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology is seeking a Wireless Installation Engineer to lead and govern WiFi engineering, design, survey, and installation across DoD modernization sites. You will coordinate tasks, validate survey data, and guide installation teams to ensure performance, security, and DoW compliance.

The role requires supervision of wireless engineers and subcontractor resources, ensuring accurate documentation and alignment with Cisco/HPE wireless infrastructures and enterprise

Qualifications

• 5+ years of wireless network engineering experience or equivalent.
• BS degree or higher in Wireless Engineering or related field.
• Experience leading installation teams in complex environments (DoD/federal preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site supervision for wireless survey techs, installers, and subcontractor personnel.
• Oversee end-to-end wireless lifecycle activities: predictive design, active/passive surveys, validation surveys, installation, configuration, tuning, and troubleshooting.
• Ensure designs meet DoW, Air Force, Space Force, and industry standards including TIA/EIA and OEM best practices.
