Job summary

Sonic Connectors LTD. is seeking Service Technicians in Midland, Texas to safely install, remove, repair, assemble, disassemble and test Wellhead equipment on site.

The role requires strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work with minimal supervision. You will perform routine maintenance, document results, and ensure safety rules and company policies are followed while traveling away from home and staying on-call as needed.

Qualifications

• 1+ years wellhead experience preferred.
• Related experience in Wellhead installation, servicing and maintenance.
• Ability to lift 75 lbs with no restrictions.
• Mechanical aptitude, good driving record, basic computer skills.
• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• The physical ability to respond to emergency situations.
• Be willing and able to work away from home for extended periods.
• Must be available for 24 hours on call duty.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Maintain all required safety and professional certifications.

Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, repair and install all designs of Wellhead equipment, valves and systems.
• Examines, repairs, tests, and maintains all designs of Wellhead equipment, valves and systems.
• Operate independently and perform troubleshooting and repair of service tools and Wellhead equipment, valves and systems.
• Must be receptive and able to comprehend training received on new products, services, and professional development skills.
• Perform job-site verification of all Wellhead equipment, valves, and systems as well as accessories.
• Properly complete a job safety analysis (JSA) form and to conduct prejob safety meetings.
• Responsible for routine maintenance, inspection, and appearance of assigned company vehicle.
• Understand and comply with all client safety rules and company policies.
• Complete all documentation required to perform duties.
• Maintains performs and supervised the general upkeep of the hand and service tools.
• Understand and comply with all client safety rules and company policies.
• Work assignments carried out to the highest quality level.
• Works with minimal supervision.
• Perform various duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.
• installation of surface wellheads wieldable type, slip lock in its different stages to include assembly and test.
