Job summary

Gala Industries, Inc. in Eagle Rock, VA is seeking a Welder to join our fabrication team. The role involves TIG and MIG welding to fabricate and repair metal structures according to drawings and specs.

You will read blueprints, set up welding equipment, and follow safety and quality standards in a factory environment. Strong teamwork, reliability, and ability to lift up to 50 lbs are essential. Schedule is Monday to Friday with possible weekends/holidays.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required with technical blueprints reading training.
• Minimum 1 year experience in TIG and MIG welding.
• Minimum 1 year experience reading blueprints and interpreting diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Weld and fabricate metal structures per customer specs using multiple welding machines.
• Read diagrams, blueprints and sketches to determine operations and materials.
• Set up, operate and maintain welding equipment; ensure safety and quality standards.
• Communicate with team members and customers; follow all company policies and procedures.
