Job summary

Emerson is seeking an Engineering Project Manager based in Seattle, WA, to manage full lifecycle projects for power plants and wastewater facilities. You will lead proposals, planning, design, procurement, production, testing, delivery, field installation and commissioning, with on-site support in King County.

Role requires 5+ years of related experience, a technical degree, and ability to travel up to 20%. You must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, CS or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of related experience.
• Water and/or wastewater experience.
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
• Excellent organizational and planning skills.
• Up to 20% travel.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, plan, and schedule project implementation, resources, and financial plan.
• Supervise and lead the project plan and schedule.
• Balance workloads and set expectations across the team.
• Coordinate activities of electrical, mechanical, and engineering subcontractors.
• Manage contract documents including contracts, change orders, and proposals.
• Anticipate and negotiate changes from the scope of work.
• Mitigate technical risk with engineering resources.
• Maintain clear written and verbal communication and organized workflows.
• Build and maintain client and stakeholder relationships.
• Lead pre-bid meetings and site visits as needed.
• Facilitate proposal kickoff calls and review sessions.
• Coordinate with Sales to shepherd proposals through bids.
• Provide guidance on future project execution and management.
