Job summary
HW3 in Detroit seeks an experienced engineering leader to manage site support for water and wastewater customers. You will lead a high-performing team of site engineers, strengthening partnerships with local utilities and treatment facilities while driving operational excellence in daily engineering support.
You will provide on-site leadership, develop the team, and deliver field services, startups, upgrades, and smaller projects. Travel up to 20% and a strong safety culture are expected.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or technical field.
- 8+ years in control systems, preferably water/wastewater.
- Experience leading field services or project engineering teams.
- Willingness to travel up to 20% domestically, US work authorization.
Responsibilities
- Provide on-site leadership for daily operations of water/wastewater systems.
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of site engineers.
- Deliver high-quality field services, system start-ups, upgrades, and small projects.
- Build strong customer relationships with utilities and treatment facilities.
- Collaborate with projects leadership to align staffing with schedules.
- Support estimating and resource planning for future opportunities.
- Promote safety, integrity, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
