Job summary

Clean Harbors is looking for Chemical Handlers to join our safety conscious team! InSite Technicians perform a wide range of tasks, including making waste pickups throughout a customer’s facility and conducting chemical bulking and consolidation.

This entry level role provides training and opportunities for advancement within a safety‑first environment, including forklift operation and regulatory compliance as you support customers with hazardous materials handling.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• Grade 4 Industrial Wastewater License preferred.
• Willingness to complete background check, drug test, and physical.

Responsibilities

• Making waste pickups throughout a customer’s facility;
• Conducting chemical bulking and consolidation;
• Packaging and labeling waste products to maximize efficiency and maintain compliance;
• Participating in spill response on customer’s site as needed;
• Operating forklifts;
• Inspecting drums for container integrity and regulatory compliance;
• Ensuring the safe loading and unloading of waste hauling vehicles;
• Completing waste stream sampling and profiling.
