Job summary

Triumvirate Environmental is seeking a Facility Specialist for its Casa Grande, AZ team. The role focuses on on-site management of hazardous and chemical waste programs, ensuring regulatory compliance, waste characterization, consolidation, packing, shipping, and training on chemical safety.

You will work with the Plant Manager to meet permit requirements, perform routine compliance checks, and coordinate outbound shipments.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in Environmental Science or Business-related degree or 2+ years of industry or Military experience.
• Ability to work as a member of a team as well as individually.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to effectively interact with a broad range of personnel.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must consent to background checks and drug screening.
• Must lift up to 60 pounds and work overtime.
• Will work flexible hours Mon-Fri and respond within 1 hour during ER rotations.

Responsibilities

• Develop the knowledge to manage a permitted facility.
• Understand facility permits and agency expectations for waste management.
• Assist with daily/weekly/monthly compliance checks, training, SOP implementation/review.
• Assist with facility operations and act as Plant Manager substitute when needed.
• Consolidate waste according to permits and customer requirements.
• Build loads for outbound transportation and coordinate shipments.
• Assist with waste determinations, profile management, and lab operations.
• Learn OSHA, EPA regulations and company health and safety practices.
• Demonstrate supervisory leadership with coworkers.
• Utilize computerized waste tracking systems.
• Participate in in-house Emergency Response team after ER training.
• Work on site in Casa Grande, AZ with lifting up to 75 pounds.
