Job summary

You will supervise salaried and hourly staff including UAW employees, implement standardized work, drive continuous improvement, and ensure safety compliance while balancing cost and productivity.

A high school diploma and supervisory experience are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• 3+ years experience supervising employees in manufacturing, warehouse, or logistics.
• 2+ years experience managing a team.
• Analytical and technical computer skills.
• Proficiency with storage, retrieval, inventory, and warehouse management software and systems, including Microsoft Office Suite.
• Ability to work onsite on any shift as required by the business.
• Ability to travel up to 10% as needed.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and optimize warehouse workflows to support timely shipment of customer orders.
• Diagnose operational issues by identifying gaps, determining root causes, and implementing corrective adjustments.
• Allocate resources and set direction to address department constraints and achieve shift objectives.
• Lead, train, and evaluate supervisors and support staff.
• Build effective working relationships across salaried and hourly UAW employees.
• Enforce consistent use of standardized work, processes, tools, and systems.
• Ensure compliance with industry requirements and safety regulations, including the Workplace Safety System (WSS).
• Conduct safety audits and training, and promptly address safety concerns and incidents.
• Implement department- and site-wide continuous improvement activities, including Global Manufacturing Systems (GMS).
• Collaborate with support functions, vendors, and suppliers to troubleshoot issues and improve operational efficiency.
