Job summary

Waterworks in Brookfield, CT is hiring a Warehouse Associate to join a onsite distribution team. You will verify and receive shipments, handle materials, fulfill customer orders, and keep a clean, organized warehouse environment five days per week.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, 2-4 years in distribution or warehousing, and forklift certification; RF scanning, FedEx Ship Manager, and MS Office experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Institutional education: High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 1-4 years of logistics experience in distribution, shipping/receiving, or warehouse environments.
• Forklift/reach/cherry picker certification or ability to obtain certification.
• Proficiency with RF scanning, FedEx Ship Manager, and MS Office; Oracle JDE EnterpriseOne is a plus.
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Verify and receive incoming shipments, handle materials, and fulfill customer orders.
• Keep warehouse inventory organized, clean, and equipment operational.
• Follow instructions for order or transfer fulfillment, including packing requirements.
• Select and stage items for shipment, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
• Load and unload materials onto or from vehicles, pallets, trays, racks, and shelves.
• Perform daily equipment inspections; operate industrial trucks and hand trucks.
• Conduct periodic cycle counts to verify inventory levels and correct discrepancies.
• Adhere to safety procedures and participate in special projects as needed.
