Job summary

Talenzaa in Framingham, MA is seeking a VMware Administrator/Engineer to administer, monitor, and support enterprise VMware environments. You will work with vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, and vSAN, performing troubleshooting, patching, and security hardening.

This role leads cluster management, capacity planning, and hardware refresh initiatives across production, DR, and test setups, and collaborates with Storage, Network, Security, and Server teams to ensure high availability and compliance.

Qualifications

• Administer and monitor enterprise VMware virtualization platforms.
• Design, install, configure, upgrade, and troubleshoot VMware infrastructure.
• Lead cluster management, capacity planning, and hardware refresh.
• Perform advanced troubleshooting of ESXi/VMware components.
• Manage patching, security hardening, and vulnerability remediation.
• Configure backup, replication, and disaster recovery for virtual workloads.
• Ensure security standards and governance compliance.

Responsibilities

• Own VMware administration across production, DR, and test environments.
• Collaborate with Storage, Network, and Security teams to resolve issues.
• Monitor performance, analyze trends, and optimize availability and efficiency.
• Participate in on-call support and planned maintenance activities.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation and runbooks.
