Job summary

AEITS, Inc., a GTSC company, is seeking a Software Reverse Engineer, Level 1, for on-site work in Hanover, MD. Candidates must hold an active Top Secret SCI clearance with polygraph and have a strong background in Python, C, or C++, with extensive experience across Windows and UNIX environments.

Responsibilities include full lifecycle development, data and performance optimization, rigorous testing, and DevOps integration using CI/CD pipelines and containerization tools.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in software engineering.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Expert-level command of at least one major language: Python, C, C++.
• Proven track record in Windows and UNIX environments, including shell scripting and automation.

Responsibilities

• Full-Lifecycle Development: Design, code, and debug applications while articulating methodologies to stakeholders.
• Data & Performance: Manage large-scale datasets, implement advanced algorithms, and optimize systems.
• Testing & Quality: Develop and execute unit, integration, and regression tests.
• DevOps Integration: Experience with CI/CD pipelines and containerization tools (Docker, Ansible, Jenkins, or Bamboo).
