Job summary

AnaVation is seeking an ISSE to design, develop, and integrate secure network and system architectures for a mission-critical customer in Reston, VA. The role emphasizes building technical cybersecurity defenses and RMF compliance across the lifecycle.

The candidate will work on classified programs on-site, support DIA A&A, incident response, and test planning while translating security requirements into practical technical designs.

Qualifications

• Clearance: Active TS/SCI with CI Polygraph.
• Education: Bachelor's degree and 4 years related experience.
• Certifications: CySA+ or equivalent IAT Level II.
• Windows and Linux system administration experience.
• Experience deploying, maintaining, and troubleshooting security tools.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Experience with ACAS, Trellix, Splunk, and STIGs.
• Ability to translate security requirements into technical designs.

Responsibilities

• Ensure network systems meet DIA C&A and IA requirements and accreditation.
• Full-time on-site work covering classified programs and SAP; no telework.
• Design and implement secure system and physical control solutions.
• Support RMF A&A across the design lifecycle for classified systems.
• Provide engineering services for integrated security systems and risk management.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate security needs into designs.
• Configure, validate, and test security products and systems.
• Develop system test plans to assess information security posture.
• Analyze findings and prioritize remediation actions.
• Participate in incident response activities as needed.
