Job summary

Piper Companies seeks a Datacenter Engineer for a leading technology and cybersecurity organization in Research Triangle Park, NC. This on-site role operates five days per week in a SCIF environment supporting secure government-focused infrastructure and requires an active TS/SCI Full Scope Polygraph clearance.

The role builds and supports mission-critical networks, configures routers/switches/firewalls, administers VMware vSphere and Windows/Linux servers, and aids compliance with NISPOM/ICD

Qualifications

• Strong network and systems engineering background with experience in secure datacenter environments.
• Active TS/SCI with Full Scope Polygraph clearance is required.
• Hands-on experience with VMware vSphere, Windows Server 2016/2019, Windows 10, AD, DNS, DHCP, and remediation.

Responsibilities

• Build, deploy, and support mission-critical networks and computing environments within secure datacenter infrastructures.
• Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot network technologies including routers, switches, firewalls, DNS, DHCP, AD, and Windows Server environments.
• Administer VMware vSphere and Windows/Linux systems and enterprise services (web, email, databases).
• Assist with DoD 8570–level compliance, SSPs, POA&M, and other accreditation activities.
