Job summary

DV Trading LLC in New York invites top students pursuing degrees in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or related fields to join as a Trading Intern. You will rotate across at least two desks to learn different trading styles and will build and maintain analytics dashboards and back-test ideas for trading decisions.

You’ll be mentored by senior and junior traders in a collaborative environment, with the possibility of full-time roles after graduation.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field and expected to graduate by Summer 2028.
• Strong interest in trading and model development.
• High level of proficiency with Python and Excel.
• Strong work ethic and ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced, high-pressure setting.
• Demonstrated ability to learn and apply new concepts.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to work onsite at our New York office 5 days a week.

Responsibilities

• Learn trading strategies across desks through rotation.
• Build and maintain applications to assist trading activities.
• Develop analytics dashboards and back-test ideas.
• Receive mentorship from traders and leadership.
• Collaborate across desks to understand markets.
