Job summary

DV Commodities in New York invites a Trading Intern to rotate across at least two desks, learning strategies from Market Making in Oil Products to Fundamental Discretionary trading in Gas and Power. You will build and maintain applications to assist trading, including analytics dashboards and back-testing ideas.

Mentorship comes from senior and junior traders with exposure to leadership. Ideal candidates are pursuing degrees in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Computer Science or Engineering,

Qualifications

• Pursuing degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, CS, or Engineering; graduation Summer 2028.
• Strong Python and Excel skills.
• Strong work ethic and ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced setting.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.
• Ability to work onsite at our New York office 5 days a week.

Responsibilities

• Rotate across at least two desks to learn trading styles.
