Job summary

Atlas Copco Tools & Assembly Systems LLC seeks a Subject Matter Expert to represent the Atlas Copco brand on-site at Tesla in Austin, TX. The role focuses on optimizing torque tools and fastening equipment, working directly with the customer to improve operations.

You will be the brand ambassador, perform preventive maintenance, calibration, and performance checks, and troubleshoot tooling, networking, and basic system issues.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years in a production environment with manufacturing automation, assembly tooling, or data collection systems.
• Strong troubleshooting abilities.
• Proven experience delivering exceptional customer service.
• Ability to read schematics; proficient in MS Office, networking, and database systems.
• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Physical capability to lift up to 60 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Be a Brand Ambassador: Interface with the customer to promote Atlas Copco’s commitment to excellence in torque tools and fastening solutions.
• Maintain and calibrate tools: Perform preventative maintenance, calibration, and performance checks to ensure peak efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues: Quickly diagnose and resolve tooling, fastening, and basic network connectivity challenges to minimize downtime.
• Repair and optimize equipment: Conduct repairs, upgrades, and adjustments to enhance productivity and tool reliability.
• Networking support: Configure, connect, and troubleshoot Atlas Copco tools and software within the customer’s network environment, ensuring proper communication with data systems and reporting tools.
